Technique Workshop: The Waistband Fix

**Fall registration opens 7/25 for newsletter subscribers and 7/27 for general registration.** In this 2 part workshop we'll tackle fixing waistbands. On week 1, bring in 2-3 pants with waistbands that could use a little tweaking. We'll discuss the best approach and choose one to focus on during the workshop. There will be some homework between classes (specifically, what to take apart) so make sure you have a seam ripper handy! Week 2 we'll get to sewing and work towards a better waistband fit! ********************* Date: Thursday, November 12th and 19th from 12:15pm - 2:15pm Skill Level: Intermediate sewing experience recommended. You should be comfortable operating a sewing machine. Ages: 16+ Cost: $100 (Scholarships and payment plans are available. Please contact us prior to registering.) Equipment and Materials: You are welcome to bring your own machine or use one of ours. Bring your own pants to work on! Instructor: Caroline
Cancellation Policy
-A minimum enrollment must be met by 72 hours prior to the workshop or the workshop may be cancelled. If this happens you will receive a full refund. -You may cancel for a refund or transfer your registration up to 1 week before a one-time workshop, 2 weeks before a multi-week series, 3 weeks before an Intensive Workshop, and 4 weeks before a camp. There are no refunds or class transfers for guest teachers. After this date there will be no refunds or transfers unless we are able to fill your spot from a waitlist. -All student requested refunds will be subject to a 3% processing fee. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to cancel a class at any time. Should we do so you will receive a full refund. -No shows forfeit any refund or transfers. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to substitute teachers either for a single class or the entire session if necessary. Please note: Classes at our Park Rd studio are on the second floor and only accessible by stairs. The Sedgwick Rd studio is on the ground floor. The back classroom has a few stairs to access. Please notify us immediately if you have mobility concerns and we will do our best to accommodate.
