Technique Workshop: Quilting Feet

Service Description
**Fall registration opens 7/25 for newsletter subscribers and 7/27 for general registration.** There are a lot of different presser feet that you can use when making a quilt! Join us to learn about the different quarter inch feet, walking foot, and free motion foot. We'll discuss the importance of each foot, when to use it, how to install it, and practice sewing with it! These class will not go into details on the free motion technique, but will get you started. You are welcome to bring your own machine and these feet if you have them. If you don't have the specific feet mentioned, you can try ours out if you have a low shank machine. We will also have machines available for use! ********************* Date: Thursday, December 10th 12:15pm - 2:15pm Skill Level: Intermediate beginner sewing experience required. You should be comfortable operating a sewing machine. Ages: 16+ Cost: $55 (Scholarships and payment plans are available. Please contact us prior to registering.) Equipment and Materials: You are welcome to bring your own machine or use one of ours. If you have these feet, please bring them. If you have a low shank machine, you are welcome borrow our presser feet for the class. Instructor: Caroline
Cancellation Policy
-A minimum enrollment must be met by 72 hours prior to the workshop or the workshop may be cancelled. If this happens you will receive a full refund. -You may cancel for a refund or transfer your registration up to 1 week before a one-time workshop, 2 weeks before a multi-week series, 3 weeks before an Intensive Workshop, and 4 weeks before a camp. There are no refunds or class transfers for guest teachers. After this date there will be no refunds or transfers unless we are able to fill your spot from a waitlist. -All student requested refunds will be subject to a 3% processing fee. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to cancel a class at any time. Should we do so you will receive a full refund. -No shows forfeit any refund or transfers. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to substitute teachers either for a single class or the entire session if necessary. Please note: Classes at our Park Rd studio are on the second floor and only accessible by stairs. The Sedgwick Rd studio is on the ground floor. The back classroom has a few stairs to access. Please notify us immediately if you have mobility concerns and we will do our best to accommodate.
