Adult Sewing Machine 101

Service Description

If you're starting from scratch or need a refresher course-- this is the class for you! In this one time class we'll learn the basics of machine operation: threading the machine and bobbin, changing needles and presser feet, switching stitch length and width and we'll finish up by sewing a simple drawstring bag! DATES -Sat, 4/27 from 9am - 11:30am -Wed, 5/1 from 6:30pm - 9pm -Fri, 5/3 from 9:30am - 12pm -Tues, 6/11 from 6:30pm - 9pm DETAILS -Skill Level: Level New -Equipment Needed: Bring your machine or use one of ours. If you're bringing your machine, please be sure it's in working order and bring the foot pedal, power cord, needle, empty bobbin and manual. Ask us if you have any questions! -Materials Needed: All materials will be provided.

Cancellation Policy

-A minimum enrollment must be met by 48 hours prior to the workshop or the workshop may be cancelled. If this happens you will receive a full refund. -You may cancel for a refund or transfer your registration up to 1 week before a one-time workshop, 2 weeks before a Foundations or After School series and 4 weeks before a camp. There are no refunds or class transfers for guest teachers. After this date there will be no refunds or transfers unless we are able to fill your spot from a waitlist. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to cancel a class at any time. Should we do so you will receive a full refund. -No shows forfeit any refund or transfers. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to substitute teachers either for a single class or the entire session if necessary.
