Are you looking for an event for your Girl Scout Troop, Boy Scout Pack or similar youth organization? We'd love to have you!

Details:

• Class sizes up to 8 students. Larger groups may be accommodated for an additional fee or in multiple groups. Minimum class size is 5 students. Minimum age is 8 years old for machine sewing and 6 years old for hand sewing.

• All classes held at Hartford Stitch Studio unless prior arrangements are made.

• One adult affiliated with the organization (troop leader, parent, etc) must be present during the class.

• Classes run for 2 hours depending on project, age and experience. If you would like students to learn how to wind a bobbin and thread a machine, a longer class is necessary.

• All projects are prepared prior to class so students can start sewing right away!

• Cost per student begins at $25.

Service Projects:
We have partnered with several local organizations to create projects that will benefit our community. If you would like to make and donate items to an organization that is not on this list, we will be happy to help you develop a project that fits your students abilities and their need!

• Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Hartford, CT: Drawstring bags for the Child Life Specialists

• Bridge Family Center, West Hartford, CT: Pillowcases for teens to make their stay in temporary shelters homey and cozy

• The Simon Foundation, Bloomfield, CT: Fleece dog blankets and cat bed.
