Spring Garment Foundations Series

Service Description
**Early Registration opens 2/6 for current students, 2/14 at 9am for newsletter subscribers, and 2/16 for general public.** Class duration: 8 weeks, please see dates below Skill level: Confident beginner to intermediate Cost: $385 (Scholarships and payment plans are available. Please reach out to use for more details.) What you'll learn: If you're new to sewing garments... You will learn to take proper measurements, choose a size, select fabric, read a pattern, and work with woven and knit fabric while making a pair of pajama pants and a knit t-shirt. If you have completed a session of Garment Foundations or have basic garment experience... You are welcome to choose from one of our patterns (contact us for details) or bring a pattern of your own choosing. This class is not suitable for extensive alterations and fitting, but small adjustments can be made. Materials: The patterns for beginners are included in the class registration fee. More experienced students can choose a pattern from our selection or bring their own. Dates and Times: Tuesdays, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 5/26, 6/2, 6/9, 6/16, 6/23 9:45am - 11:45am Please see makeup policy if you are unable to make one class. Instructor: Caroline Ages: 16 and up Makeup Days: If you miss a class due to illness, travel, etc. you are allotted one Open Workshop as a makeup to complete your project. Each student is only allowed one makeup per session.
Cancellation Policy
-A minimum enrollment must be met by 72 hours prior to the workshop or the workshop may be cancelled. If this happens you will receive a full refund. -You may cancel for a refund or transfer your registration up to 1 week before a one-time workshop, 2 weeks before a Foundations or After School series, 3 weeks before an Intensive Workshop, and 4 weeks before a camp. There are no refunds or class transfers for guest teachers. After this date there will be no refunds or transfers unless we are able to fill your spot from a waitlist. -All student requested refunds will be subject to a 3% processing fee. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to cancel a class at any time. Should we do so you will receive a full refund. -No shows forfeit any refund or transfers. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to substitute teachers either for a single class or the entire session if necessary. -Please note: our studio at 207 Park Rd is on the second floor and only accessible by stairs.. Our new studio at 13 Sedgwick Rd is on the ground floor without any stairs.
