Quilting Curves: Dogwood Block Workshop
Service Description
The Dogwood Quilt by Pear Tree Design Co takes a traditional drunkards path square and creates a beautiful dogwood flower. This pattern is a fun way to tackle sewing with curves. In this class, we will be looking into the different techniques to sewing with curves. You'll leave with the skills needed to complete this block and then you decide what to do with it at home! Turn it into a pillow or make more for a quilt! Skill Level: Beginner quilting experience. You should be familiar with basic quilting terms and have experience with a 1/4" seam allowance. Check out our Quilting 101 Series if you need to get started! Time and Date: Monday, March 7th from 6pm - 9pm Ages: 16+ Materials: -The pattern and fabric is included with this registration. Equipment: You are welcome to bring your own machine and tools or use one of ours!
Cancellation Policy
-A minimum enrollment must be met by 48 hours prior to the workshop or the workshop may be cancelled. If this happens you will receive a full refund. -You may cancel for a refund or transfer your registration up to 1 week before a one-time workshop, 2 weeks before a Foundations or After School series and 4 weeks before a camp. There are no refunds or class transfers for guest teachers. After this date there will be no refunds or transfers unless we are able to fill your spot from a waitlist. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to cancel a class at any time. Should we do so you will receive a full refund. -No shows forfeit any refund or transfers. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to substitute teachers either for a single class or the entire session if necessary.
