Service Description
**Registration opens 7/25 for newsletter subscribers and 7/27 for general public.** Our weekend project workshops have now become our "Saturday Sewing Club"! Join us on Saturdays from 12pm - 2pm to sew several fun projects around a theme. The longer session will allow us to dive into some bigger projects! October's theme is Fall Accessories! Projects may include: -Quilted Totes -Hidden zipper infinity scarf -Ear Warmer -Bag Charm Please note: The exact projects may change based on students' skill level and attendance. Date and Time: Saturdays from 12pm - 2pm. October 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th. There are no makeups. Price: $200 (Tuition assistance and scholarships are available. Please contact us prior to registering.) Location: Our new studio at 13 Sedgwick Rd, West Hartford Skill Level: Beginner Sewer: All students need to have taken Kid Sewing Machine 101 or have similar experience winding a bobbin, threading the machine and sewing a straight line. Ages: 8-13 Equipment Needed: All equipment and materials will be provided! Your child is welcome to bring their own machine to class, but can't leave it in the studio between weeks. Machines marketed towards children (typically white with purple or pink dials) are not suitable for these projects.
Cancellation Policy
-A minimum enrollment must be met by 72 hours prior to the workshop or the workshop may be cancelled. If this happens you will receive a full refund. -You may cancel for a refund or transfer your registration up to 1 week before a one-time workshop, 2 weeks before a multi-week series, 3 weeks before an Intensive Workshop, and 4 weeks before a camp. There are no refunds or class transfers for guest teachers. After this date there will be no refunds or transfers unless we are able to fill your spot from a waitlist. -All student requested refunds will be subject to a 3% processing fee. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to cancel a class at any time. Should we do so you will receive a full refund. -No shows forfeit any refund or transfers. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to substitute teachers either for a single class or the entire session if necessary. Please note: Classes at our Park Rd studio are on the second floor and only accessible by stairs. The Sedgwick Rd studio is on the ground floor. The back classroom has a few stairs to access. Please notify us immediately if you have mobility concerns and we will do our best to accommodate.
