Are you ready to explore the world of color? Whether you're new to colorwork or looking to take your skills to the next level, join us. In this 2-hour session, beginners will learn the fundamental techniques of colorwork knitting, while those with some experience will refine their skills and build confidence to explore working with multiple colors. Together, we will practice reading patterns accurately, holding yarn comfortably, and catching floats effectively. By the end of this 2-hour session, you'll have created a beautiful piece that showcases your growing expertise and creativity. If you have a solid foundation in basic knitting and are eager to dive into the art of colorwork, join us on this exciting journey of color and craftsmanship! Materials and Tools: $15 material fee payable to the instructor at class. Kit includes yarn, stitch markers and printing of materials for students to take home. Studio needles are provided for in class use or you can bring your own so you don't need to remove your project at the end of class. We'll be using worsted weight yarn so size 7 or 8 will work well! DETAILS -Date and Time: Saturday, May 3rd from 10am - 12pm -Skill Level: Beginner - Advanced. You should have some basic experience knitting (if you don't, check out our Knitting Foundations class!) -Materials: You will receive a material list after registration. Cancellation Policy
-A minimum enrollment must be met by 48 hours prior to the workshop or the workshop may be cancelled. If this happens you will receive a full refund. -You may cancel for a refund or transfer your registration up to 1 week before a one-time workshop, 2 weeks before a Foundations or After School series and 4 weeks before a camp. There are no refunds or class transfers for guest teachers. After this date there will be no refunds or transfers unless we are able to fill your spot from a waitlist. -All student requested refunds will be subject to a 2.7% processing fee. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to cancel a class at any time. Should we do so you will receive a full refund. -No shows forfeit any refund or transfers. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to substitute teachers either for a single class or the entire session if necessary.
