About the event
Our scrap basket is overflowing and it's time to turn them into beautiful scrappy blankets to donate to Journey Home. Journey Home is a local organization finding innovative solutions to end homelessness in Hartford. We are excited to be partnering again with them on this project! Please note: our event is a little different this year!
FEBRUARY 8TH
COMMUNITY QUILT DAY!
Unlike previous years, we won't be sewing individual blocks during Community Quilt Day. Instead join us and help with one of these tasks:
-Pressing and trimming donated blocks
-Assembling quilt tops

Join us on Feb 8th to trim donated blocks, assemble quilt tops, baste, machine quilt or hand tie, and bind! Don't worry if you don't have sewing machine experience, we will find something for you to do!

QUILTING AND FINISHING
Pick up pieced quilt tops the week of January 28th along with backing and batting. It's up to you how the quilt is quilted, tied and bound! Please return no later than March 3rd
