REGISTRATION BEGINS IN JULY! Newsletter subscribers will have early access so make sure to sign up! Teen students will learn fundamental sewing skills while exploring different sewing mediums including garments, quilting, bagmaking and more! **Register for the full year by September 1st and receive 10% off the total registration fee! Contact us at hello@hartfordstitch.com before registering to take advantage of the discount.** **If you're registering more than one child or for more than one session please contact us for one convenient invoice.** IMPORTANT: -Students must take Kid or Adult Sewing Machine 101, a private lesson or have similar experience before starting an after school class. Please contact us before enrolling if your child has experience from outside Hartford Stitch. While they don't need to be proficient, they must have experience winding a bobbin, threading a machine and sewing. You can register for a Kid or Adult Sewing Machine 101 and after school class at the same time. -There is ONE makeup class per session. This is used for illness, quarantine requirements, weather related cancellations, etc. -Students may bring their own machines but may not leave them at the studio between classes. DETAILS Skill Level: Beginner+. Child must have Kid or Adult Sewing Machine 101 or equivalent experience as described above. Ages: middle - high school age Date: Wednesdays, 9/14, 9/21, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/30, 12/7 from 5pm - 6:15pm. There is no class 9/28, 10/5 and 11/23. The makeup day is 12/14 at the same time. Equipment Needed: Equipment is provided. Children are welcome to bring their own machines if they would like. Materials Needed: All materials will be provided are included in the registration fee. Instructor: Laura Kasowitz Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests must be received 2 weeks before the start date. There will be no refund or credit after that date unless we are able to fill the spot from the waitlist. COVID SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: At this time masks are optional.
Cancellation Policy
-A minimum enrollment must be met by 48 hours prior to the workshop or the workshop may be cancelled. If this happens you will receive a full refund. -You may cancel for a refund or transfer your registration up to 1 week before a one-time workshop, 2 weeks before a Foundations or After School series and 4 weeks before a camp. There are no refunds or class transfers for guest teachers. After this date there will be no refunds or transfers unless we are able to fill your spot from a waitlist. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to cancel a class at any time. Should we do so you will receive a full refund. -No shows forfeit any refund or transfers. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to substitute teachers either for a single class or the entire session if necessary.
