Fall Bagmaking Foundations Series

Service Description

Beginner: Start to build those bagmaking skills in this 8 week series! Start with our Rivet Tote and learn how to work with fusible interfacing, create pockets (zipper and slip pockets), add a bag lining with facings, topstitch and use the rivet press to attach handles. After completing your first bag you'll have an opportunity to choose from our bag patterns, or bring your own, for your next project! Returning Students: Choose on of our patterns or bring your own to expand your bagmaking skills! Dates and Times: Mondays, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, 11/27, 12/4 from 12:30pm - 2:30pm Instructor: Caroline Skill Level: Beginner- You should have some sewing experience such as Adult Sewing Machine 101 or Sewing Foundations Series Equipment Needed: You are welcome to bring your own machine and small tools or use one of ours. Materials Needed: Beginners: You will receive an email with material needs after registration. Returning students: Please contact us for pattern options and material needs.

Cancellation Policy

-A minimum enrollment must be met by 48 hours prior to the workshop or the workshop may be cancelled. If this happens you will receive a full refund. -You may cancel for a refund or transfer your registration up to 1 week before a one-time workshop, 2 weeks before a Foundations or After School series and 4 weeks before a camp. There are no refunds or class transfers for guest teachers. After this date there will be no refunds or transfers unless we are able to fill your spot from a waitlist. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to cancel a class at any time. Should we do so you will receive a full refund. -No shows forfeit any refund or transfers. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to substitute teachers either for a single class or the entire session if necessary.
