Service Description

Start to build those bagmaking skills in this 4 week series! Learn how to work with fusible interfacing, create pockets (zipper and slip pockets), add a bag lining with facings, topstitch and use the rivet press to attach handles. Skill Level: Beginner- You should have some sewing experience such as Adult Sewing Machine 101 or Sewing Foundations Series Date and Time: -Tuesdays, April 26th, May 3rd, May 10th, and May 17th 12:30pm - 2:30pm with Caroline ***Class full. Contact us to be put on the waitlist.*** Equipment Needed: You are welcome to bring your own machine and small tools or use one of ours. Materials Needed: -3/4 yard home dec weight or canvas for the upper bag -1/2 yard contrasting home dec weight or canvas for the lower bag -1 yard quilting cotton for bag lining -coordinating thread -Pattern, leather handles, rivets, zipper and interfacing are provided with the class registration.

Cancellation Policy

-A minimum enrollment must be met by 48 hours prior to the workshop or the workshop may be cancelled. If this happens you will receive a full refund. -You may cancel for a refund or transfer your registration up to 1 week before a one-time workshop, 2 weeks before a Foundations or After School series and 4 weeks before a camp. After this date there will be no refunds or transfers unless we are able to fill your spot from a waitlist. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to cancel a class at any time. Should we do so you will receive a full refund. -No shows forfeit any refund or transfers. -Hartford Stitch reserves the right to substitute teachers either for a single class or the entire session if necessary.
